This necklace is a true treasure, it actually WORKS.
The maker of this beauty has 17 jewels, Swiss made.
Vintage ELGIN watch movement actually is a working piece, mounted in its case still, this one actually keeps time:)
Movement measures a very petite 19mm by 15mm excluding winding stem.
The chain for this necklace is an 18 inch gold plated chain.
Closes with lobster claw clasp.
This piece would make a supurb gift.
I cannot say this watch will work forever, you will have to take care of it as the workings are not protected by the back of the case.
I will be including a cute little draw string bag to store it in so other jewelry in a jewelry box does not damage it when not being worn.
